Clients trust us for financial guidance so of course we insist on fairness and transparency with regard to the fees we charge for our services. These will be explained to you during the Discovery Meeting and subsequently at the various stages of our Planning Process. It goes without saying fees are also set out in writing in your Service Agreement from the outset - no nasty surprises.
Our fees are based on your circumstances and requirements - the amount of funds we manage on your behalf, and the nature and complexity of the services you engage us for.
This is an upfront fee for producing your initial Financial Plan. It covers the time spent gathering information from you, researching and reviewing any relevant financial product providers and producing our recommendations in the form of a Financial Plan.
Should you decide to proceed with your Plan we charge a percentage of the funds to be invested to implement the Plan. The cost associated with buying products on your behalf may be met by either fees or offsetting fees against plan. When the provider pays us for transactions we have recommended to you, these fees may be offset against costs set out in the Service Agreement, or rebated to enhance the Plan. We will discuss the best option for you before you commit.
Ongoing Advice Fee
This is a percentage of the funds under management and covers the formal Review meetings we hold with you on a regular basis. Clients consistently tell us that this individual face-to-face time spent with their Planner is the most valuable part of the service we provide. The Annual fee also covers the time we spend monitoring your investments, suggesting any changes that need to be made.
In short, keeping your plan on track to meet the goals you wish to achieve.
