We invite all our clients and friends of FMB to support this incredible charity and be sociable at the same time! There will be a selection of homemade cakes and biscuits prepared by our very own FMB team as well as hot refreshments, all we ask in return is for a donation made to Macmillan Cancer Support.
We are always saying our door is open and we mean it, especially if we can raise some money at the same time. Every year our staff take part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Last year, an estimated 2.5 million people participated and together managed to raise an incredible £10 million to fund this amazing charity. As part of the fundraising, our staff will also be paying to “dress down” and holding a raffle.
Macmillan is a charity close to our hearts, and we are not alone. A shocking statistic is that there are currently 2 million people living with cancer in the UK and by 2030 it is estimated that this will have doubled to 4 million. Macmillan believes that for most people, cancer will be the toughest thing that anybody will ever have to face and that everybody will need the support in order to fight it.
