Learn the basics of Nordic Walking in one of our FREE taster sessions with Nicola Sproson of Nic’s Nordic Walks. Each session will last for approximately 60-75 minutes before we head to the on-site cafe for some well-deserved complimentary cake and refreshments. Don't worry, the taster session will not be too vigorous and can be enjoyed by people of many abilities.
We will provide complimentary parking passes on the day.
About Nordic Walking:
Nicola has been working with the FMB team to promote well being through Nordic Walking. We have known Nicola for many years; she is passionate about the outdoors and her sessions are entertaining as well as a great workout.
Nordic Walking was developed by cross country skiers to keep fit in the Summer, it is not just 'walking with sticks' as some folk think, but is sport designed to work the whole body. You will find the technique changes the way the body moves and improves posture from the first session.
