Trainee Client Services Assistant

Full-time: 35 hours p.w (Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm)

Overview

This position will be based within our busy Client Services department, supporting the financial planners with their day-to-day administration.

The successful applicant must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to work both independently and as part of a team to deliver a first-class level of customer service to our clients.

The position has huge potential to progress while working within a great working environment. Office experience would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.

Weekly working hours

Full time - 35 hours; Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm

Qualifications required

  • 4 GCSE passes (A-C) including English Language and Maths.
  • A-Level in either ICT or Business Studies desirable but not essential

Skills required

  • Reasonable knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Keen to learn/Enthusiastic

Training to be provided:

  • On the job
  • Exam support
  • Exams and study material – paid for by FMB

Salary: £12-14k dependent on experience

Client Services Assistant

Full-time or part-time

Overview

We are looking for an experienced administrator to work within our administrative support department. The successful applicant will assist the financial planners with all aspects of the client relationship to ease the amount of administration work they become involved in. This includes filtering calls, producing financial plans and corresponding and communicating with other companies/clients on their behalf.

The successful applicant must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to work independently and prioritise workload accordingly.

The candidate must have experience within a busy office environment. Experience within the financial industry would be preferred but is not essential.

Weekly working hours

For the right applicant, this role can be full-time or part-time. Maximum full time hours would be 35 hours per week; Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm.

Training to be provided

  • On the job
  • Exam support
  • Exams and study material – paid for by FMB

We will provide training to ensure the candidate fully understands the FCA rules surrounding ethics and treating customers fairly. The candidate should be looking to further their knowledge in areas including; investments, protection, pension, tax and mortgages to help them within their role.

Qualifications/Experience required

  • 4 GCSE passes (A-C) including English Language and Maths.
  • A-Level in either ICT or Business Studies desirable but not essential
  • 2 years relevant experience in an administrative role

Skills required

  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Keen to learn/Enthusiastic

Salary: £15.5k-£17k dependent on experience (pro-rata based on hours if part-time)
