FMB Directors Gill Forrester and Ruth Power were attending a small business summit organised by the Business Engagement Unit of The University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) yesterday.
The Queen, Prince Philip and Prince Charles were visiting Lancashire to see various regeneration projects in the area. The UCLAN campus in Burnley represents a huge investment and has been instrumental in engaging businesses in government and educational policy in order to strengthen the UK workforce.
There were two speakers; Stephen Falder, Deputy Chairman of Byotrol PLC, and co-owner of HMG paints and The Little Greene Paint company and Bryan Adams, founder and CEO of online marketing agency Ph.Creative. Both speakers gave very different but equally inspirational takes on the how small can be beautiful when it comes to business.
FMB agrees!
We asked the Queen if she required any financial planning, but she said she had it covered!
