Les Beavis - Chairman/Managing Director
Les began his career at the Head Office of General Accident Life where he spent nine years in pensions. He moved to Kendal in 1979 to set up the pensions department of Provincial Life, leaving in 1984 when he started his own business as an independent financial adviser. He founded Financial Management Bureau in 1987 with Dennis Hale.

Gill Forrester - Director of Operations & HR
Gill has worked at FMB since May 1990. She had undertaken a number of key roles before becoming Office Manager in 2003. Gill has also gained many qualifications over the years including FPC 1, 2 and 3.

Paul Tuson Cert PFS - Director of Business Development
Paul began his career in Financial Services with Standard Life Assurance Company and after 11 years joined Financial Management Bureau in 2001.

Dennis Hale BSc AIA - Investment Consultant
Dennis joined Provincial Life in 1974. Whilst there he qualified as an Associate Actuary and was involved in all aspects of investments. He left in 1983 to join Scottish Provident and then Standard Life before forming Financial Management Bureau with Les Beavis. He has recently stepped down as a director to spend more time with his family. Dennis holds the Investment Management Certificate.

Jeremy Fisher Cert PFS - Senior Financial Consultant
Jeremy has over 16 years experience in the Financial Services Industry. He joined Financial Management Bureau team as a Financial Consultant in 1996.

Andrew Laisby Cert PFS - Senior Financial Consultant
Andrew has over 30 years experience in the Financial Services Industry and holds the full Financial Planning Certificate and an additional qualification in mortgages. In addition, Andrew continues to study for higher qualifications.

Lynne Bates Cert PFS - Financial Consultant
Lynne has over 20 years industry experience joing Financial Management Bureau in 1994. After undertaking a number of roles she became specialist pensions consultant in 1998.

Lisa Walmsley BA (Hons) - Financial Consultant
Lisa began her Financial Services career with Norwich Union in 1999, where she attained the full Financial Planning Certificate, and passed the CeMap Mortgage Examination. She joined Financial Management Bureau Ltd in 2002 and has since passed a higher qualification in Savings and Investments.

Louise Simm Dip PFS - Financial Consultant
Louise started her career at Scottish Provident in 1997, where she gained the full Financial Planning certificate. Since joining Financial Management Bureau in 2001, Louise has passed examinations which include, Cemap, the Investment Management Certificate and a higher qualification in taxation.

Gareth Nicholson Dip PFS - Financial Consultant
Gareth joined Financial Management Bureau in 2003 after leaving higher education where he studied mathematics and business. He has since attained the full financial planning qualification and gained higher qualifications in Savings & Investment, Mortgages, Equity Release and Long Term Care. He is hoping to complete the diploma in financial planning in April 2008 when he sits the specialist Investment Management Certificate Exam.

Chris Hill Cert PFS - Financial Consultant
Chris began his financial career at Scottish Provident in 1999 where he obtained the Financial Planning Certificate. He joined FMB in March 2004 and has since obtained higher qualifications in Mortgages, Equity Release, Savings & Investments and Long Term care.
