We are ecstatic to have walked away with not one but TWO awards from the 2019 Professional Adviser Awards in London last Thursday.

We always think it is an incredible achievement when we are shortlisted for the various awards that we enter, however, when we are competing nationally against some much larger organisations, we never like to get our hopes up. So, you can imagine how blown away FMB Directors Liz Beavis, Ruth Power, Gill Forrester and Roger Jackson were when they were called to the stage to collect awards for 'Best Client Engagement’ and also for coming second place in the ‘Best Advisers to Work For’ category - officially making us the second best advisers to work for in the UK.

Both awards are equally as special to us. We pride ourselves on investing in our staff and making it a great place to work so to have been commended as one of the best advisers to work for the second year in a row, from anonymous questionnaires the team fill in, is remarkable. Having a happy and satisfied team will only enhance the service we give to our clients.

Coming first in the 'Best Client Engagement' category is a great achievement also. This was judged by an expert panel who reviewed and scored us on how we engage and communicate with our clients both digitally with things such as our e-newsletters and social media activity as well as face-to-face with the events that we run. It is always validating to hear you're doing a good job.

A huge thank you goes to our incredible team for all their hard work and allowing us to even be considered for such amazing accolades - never mind actually winning them! And a huge thank you to our extraordinary clients for making our job so enjoyable and rewarding.
