We have been accredited by Investors in People (IIP) for over 20 years and when the assessment criteria was updated in 2016 to include a more rigorous and tiered award structure, we were over the moon to be accredited with the Silver standard. Every three years, IIP undertake a thorough assessment of our business which includes an anonymous survey by all staff, a review of business strategy and all HR procedures as well as face to face interviews with randomly selected members of staff.

We always strive to better ourselves and since the feedback from the assessment in 2016, we have been working hard with the team on making the suggested improvements. Director of HR and Compliance, Gill Forrester, was delighted to share the news with the team that, following this year's assessment, we have now received the prestigious Gold standard. Gill says, “I’ve been heading up our work with IIP since the beginning and I can honestly say it’s had more impact on our business than anything else we have done. We provide a service that revolves around people. If our people are the best they can be, then so is our service.”
