We have always been at the cutting edge of tech advances in financial services, adopting new and exciting ways to improve our service.

One area technology plays a huge role is in our Investment Process but we have been wondering recently if we are being too narrow in our focus. Managing Director Liz Beavis explains, “We sometimes feel we are not utilising some of the more unusual approaches to choosing investments for our clients so we have been exploring options of a more spiritual nature. We are delighted to have a new member of the Board who can bring this extra string to our bow.”

Director of Financial Planning, Roger Jackson, continues, “There have been times when we really felt a crystal ball would have been useful to make sure we are on the right track, so we thought why not give it a try?”

For the past 6 months we have been trialling tarot cards, tea leaves and astrology to select a portfolio of shares. In all cases the results have out-performed all our traditional methods.

“It’s extraordinary!” said Liz Beavis “People have been asking us for years why we don’t use a crystal ball, I can’t believe the answer was staring us in the face the whole time!”

Roger Jackson continued, “And the fantastic news is we are delighted to announce the appointment of Uri Gellar to join our board as Non-Executive Director to help us with this new exciting strategy!”
