Record Inflows to Equities

There was a record surge of interest in equity funds in the weeks leading up to the end of the tax year. According to a recent fund flow index, 2024’s ISA season was the best in the 10 years the index has produced its data. The index* recorded inflows from the middle of February to the end of the tax year, revealing that equity funds absorbed £5.17bn, representing more than five times as much as during the same period in 2023 (£981m). This was reflected in how busy we were this year at tax year end at FMB. Staff worked very hard to make sure we hit deadlines for our clients.
