What have Fatface, Gousto, Sipsmith Gin, Ella’s Kitchen and Patagonia all got in common with FMB?
We are all certified B Corp businesses!
FMB has been a family led, community-focused business since it was founded by Liz and Ruth’s Dad Les in 1987. Many long-standing clients will remember the many fundraising events Les used to organise.
Thanks to Les and his passion for technology and technical interest in financial services, it became part of our culture to adopt the best practices and explore new and innovative ways to give the best possible service for our clients. Some of our clients have been with us for four generations which says something about our relationship with the families we take care of.
In 1997 we were the first IFA in the northwest to be awarded Investors in People (It was only founded in 1991), showing our commitment to building a great team.
B-Corp is an accreditation that combines all the best features of a responsible business; transparent and fair client service, doing the best we can for our workforce, helping our community and making sure we tread lightly on the planet.
It’s not been easy to get the certification, there are many areas on which can improve but we are committed to making sure we stick to our mission and vision!
