Laura is Receptionist at FMB and also supports the accounts and admin teams. Laura is one of our best known face/voice as she is usually the one greeting you at our Kendal office or on the phone!
- How many years have you worked at FMB? Four and a half years
- Best part of working for FMB? The team spirit. Everyone is very supportive and caring.
- Favourite drink? Got to be a gin and tonic, my husband and I are gin collectors and enjoy going to gin festivals.
- Famous person for a night out with? Hugh Jackman, I love his films. I recently enjoyed “Song Sung Blue” with Hugh singing Neil Diamond songs. I bet he’s got a lot of interesting stories.
- Tomorrow I’m going to? Go for an evening walk after work now the nights are getting a bit lighter.
- Favourite thing about working in financial advice? Meeting new and regular faces/making a difference to people’s lives.
- Favourite holiday destination? Orlando; lots of sun, sea and fun!
- Best local recommendation? A walk through Levens Deer Park, it’s a beautiful walk with easily accessible paths and a great café at the end – Levens Kitchen.
- Best piece of advice I ever had? Never go to bed on an argument.
- Favourite person? My mum, she is my rock.
