Liz Beavis is Managing Director and a Financial Planner at FMB. She is the daughter of founder Les Beavis. Many of you will know Liz as your planner or from events over the years. From golf days, Brough agricultural show, outdoor events, and our coffee mornings and fundraisers. Liz is one of our longest serving team members.
1) How many years have you worked at FMB?
I started in 1999 so it will be 26 years in July.

The people, both our brilliant team and working with fantastic clients
3) Favourite drink?
Gin & Tonic
4) Famous person for a night out with?
I think it would have to be Bob Mortimer. I read his autobiography recently and he seems like a really nice guy as well as being hilarious.
5) Tomorrow I'm going to?
Spend a weekend in Berlin!
6) Favourite thing about working in financial advice.
Being able to help people to change their lives for the better
7) Favourite holiday destination?
I love city breaks and my favourite city so far is probably London.
8) Best local recommendation?
Brewery Arts Centre in Kendal for nice Pizzas combined with live music, theatre, and cinema experience. There is always something going on.
9) Best piece of advice I ever had?
It’s better to make a decision and take action, even if it doesn’t feel perfect.
10) Favourite person?
He is not a real person, but my dog Bucky. That answer saves me getting into trouble with my 3 children.
