Roger Jackson is Director of Financial Planning and a Financial Planner at FMB.

Many of you will know Roger if you have joined us for any technical events online. You may not know, as well as his role at FMB, Roger is also on the board of our national governing body the Chartered Institute of Insurance and the Personal Finance Society. He began working at FMB fresh from Dallam School and so it’s quite a journey right to the top of our profession!

The people, obviously!

Nesquik chocolate milkshake.

Famous person for a night out with?

Will Ferrell would be a brilliant companion for a big night out!

Work, then playing football.

Favourite thing about working in financial advice?

Transferable skills. Great knowledge and skills for professional and client situations, but you can use them with friends/family and even for yourself.

Favourite holiday destination?

Spain, we keep going back. It’s great for families, we have made so many happy memories there.

Best local recommendation?

This time of year, the Cowclose woods at Pool Bank have the most amazing bluebells. Worth a visit whilst they are out.

Best piece of advice I ever had?

Work hard, stay consistent, don’t let people down.

How could I possibly choose one, there are so many to choose from!
