Prosper - a guide to financial competence

A finance workshop for young adults

Many of our clients have children in their twenties and thirties and it was suggested by one of you that we give more support to your children when it comes to helping get their financial affairs in order.

Sometimes it's hard to give advice to our own family; emotions and past history can cloud how the message is received. Money is certainly an emotive topic. It may be easier to direct family members to this evening course to help nudge them into making better decisions and thinking about the future. The course is geared towards giving young people the tools to help themselves and become financially savvy!

We have sixteen places open to children and family members of FMB clients.

The event will include information and interactive activities led by:-

Roger Jackson - Financial Planner from FMB
Ruth Power - Director of FMB

Topics covered

  • Budgeting
  • Savings
  • Mortgages
  • Protecting their life/income/mortgage
  • Auto-enrolment and pensions
  • Understanding tax

Delegates will also leave with a pack full of ideas and inspiration for getting their financial affairs in shape.

Roger will be on hand to answer any questions.
