Understanding Retirement for HR Professionals

Caption: Our session hosts, Roger Jackson and Ruth Power

Our tailored course helps HR professionals understand how the retirement life stage can be managed to the benefit of both the employee and the employer. Age discrimination laws can make it quite challenging for businesses to make workforce plans, but understanding retirement from the employee's point of view can aid workplace discussions.

We have over 30 years of working with individuals to plan for retirement, helping manage their money into later life as well as working with employers to manage their group pension schemes.

About the session:

This Zoom session is aimed at HR Professionals and Employment Solicitors with the aim of starting a meaningful conversation with employees and will be hosted by Ruth Power (FMB Director) and Roger Jackson (FMB Director of Financial Planning).

The key points covered in this session:-

  • Employment legislation overview around retirement

  • Funding retirement
