Get armed against the scammers

Learn how to spot scams and protect yourself with our National Trading Standards 'SCAMchampion', Richard Jennings

Friends Against Scams is a national initiative, encouraging people to become "Scam Friends" and train others how to keep safe.

We are holding a scam awareness session for the general public at FMB's Kendal office led by Richard. Friends Against Scams take a pledge to help others avoid scams and train others about the dangers.

Join us for an informal session covering:-

  • Types of scams
  • Avoid becoming a victim
  • How to spot a scam victim
  • Help your family and friends

We will start at 5.30pm with refreshments and the session will be finished by 6.30pm.
